Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the GPXpress Platform, owned and operated by the Sole Trader Company, trading as Red Fox Consulting (“the Company”). By using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.

GPXpress is a technology platform that connects Riders with two types of third-party transportation providers:

1. Registered Taxis (Hackney Carriages): Licensed public passenger vehicles (PPV) identified by red license plates.
2. Independent Contractors (Private Hire): Private individuals operating as contract carriage providers via the Platform.

• Taxi Fares: Fares for registered taxis are governed by the Transport Authority of Jamaica approved rates.
• Contract Rates: Fares for independent contractors are estimated by the Platform based on time and distance.
• Cash & Digital Payments: Riders may pay via cash (to the Driver) or by debit or credit card.

To ensure safety on Jamaican roads, all Drivers on the Platform must:

• Maintain a valid Jamaican Driver’s License (General or PPV as applicable).
• Provide proof of current Certificate of Fitness and Road License.
• Carry valid insurance covering “Carriage of Passengers for Hire or Reward.”

GPXpress reserves the right to deactivate any Driver who fails to meet these regulatory standards.

• Zero Tolerance: Harassment, violence, or illegal activity will result in a permanent ban.
• Cleanliness: Riders agree to reimburse Drivers for any material damage to the vehicle interior (e.g., spills or debris) as determined by the Platform.

These Terms are governed by the Laws of Jamaica. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Kingston, Jamaica.
